MS Amadante, a ship built in 2008, along with her sister ships MS Amacello, MS Amalegro, and MS Amalyra, sets a new benchmark in style and amenities in European river cruising by offering a number of interesting features that no other European river cruise ship can match. Great Views Abound

There are 2 great lounges located on the Upper Deck from which you from which you have panoramic river views, the Panorama Lounge which accommodates up to 150 passengers, and the smaller Adagio Lounge in the Aft of the ship, which is a wonderful venue for group meetings and parties. An elevator services all four decks aboard this ship, the Sun Deck, Violin Deck, Cello Deck, and Piano Deck - this is truly a unique benefit they have provided and very rarely found elsewhere.

Staterooms

Inside your beautifully decorated stateroom that measures a spacious 170 square feet you will find all the amenities of a fine hotel, with white-on-white plush bedding, as well as a cozy sitting area. Your in cabin entertainment is provided via flat screen television with what they call an 'Infotainment System' which includes free internet access, and a movie and music library for your viewing pleasure. Each cabin also includes a hair dryer, safe, bathrobes, individually controlled air-conditioning and spacious closets. All 71 staterooms and the 4 Jr. Suites offer a river view; over 80% feature large French balconies, which brings the river right to your door when relaxing in your stateroom. The Jr. Suites are upgraded further to provide an even more spacious 255 square feet of room. They feature a comfortable sitting area with a sofa and two chairs, floor-to-ceiling windows with French balconies and extra large bathrooms with bathtubs and showers. Early reservations for suites are highly recommended as they usually are the first to be sold out.

Dining

All the menus have been created with the route in mind and especially for Brendan River Cruises by esteemed European chefs. Local specialties are often part of the nightly menu. The breakfast selections include a special 'Hot Station' for custom dishes prepared to your specific request. All meals are served in a single open seating style, allowing you the maximum flexibility of dining companion choice. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style and dinner is a sit down affair. Another benefit from Brendan is the inclusion of bar and wine at dinner each evening on board.

Entertainment

We mentioned the in cabin Infotainment System, but there is also nightly entertainment provided with the emphasis being on the region being visited. Folkloric shows are presented and there is a lovely piano bar on board with a dance floor provided for the dancers on board, or you can just enjoy an evening cocktail, listen to the music and enjoy a warm conversation with a fellow passenger.
